If you’ve ever wanted to see a bunch of people running around in turkey suits, here’s your chance. This early-morning, Thanksgiving Day event offers participants the chance to take part in a 5K or 8 mile run in support of YMCA programs across North Texas. Later, the ultra-competitive among us can compare times and rub victory in the face of family members at the dinner table. The turkey costume isn’t a requirement, but don’t be surprised if you hear people wearing jingle bells or see folks modeling tutus around their running shorts.
