This celebration of famed German composers features Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra conductor Miguel Harth-Bedoya at the helm as well as the orchestra’s former principal cellist, Brinton Averil Smith. Expect a riveting performance of Richard Strauss’ Don Quixote matched by a big birthday celebration for Richard Wagner (he’d be 200 years old) with three of his overtures—Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Prelude to Lohengrin, and Overture to Rienzi.
