What, exactly, are the “middle fingers of cinema and television?” Allow VideoFest to demonstrate. In their 24th year, the oldest and largest video festival in the nation promises to show something different, as well as something local. Their new subgenre division highlights sub and counter culture. Other featured videos include the the Texas Show, a juried compilation of short film and video by Texas artists, and a compilation of the world’s best commercials. Discuss the videos after each screening in an open dialogue that you just can’t get at home on YouTube.
