Yes, you read that correctly. Vanilla Ice is back. And judging from his website, he doesn't want to talk about "Ice, Ice, Baby" (though surely he'll perform it). The local boy has been to heck and back, taking all kinds of drugs and attempting suicide when he couldn't deal with the pressures of fame. Now, he says, he has new music and a new life, which sounds like it was probably a good thing. On his website, he describes his music as "harder and darker" and says he is appealing to the "body piercing, tattoo crowd." If that is you, you won't want to miss this show. We'll be there just because we're curious–and because we're hoping to belt out, "check out the hook while my DJ revolves it" with the man who sang it first. Bonus: Beastie Boys tribute band Rhymin' and Stealin' will open for Ice.
