The vaguely creepy yet irresistible Tom Petty and ZZ Top on the same stage, on the same night? Dallas, ours is indeed a blessed city. We love Petty's earlier tunes such as “The Waiting,” “Refugee,” “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” and “You Got Lucky,” but “Free Fallin’ ” and other later tracks are also crowd-pleasers. As for ZZ Top, we're especially eager to see how the beards hold up on a humid Texas night.
