The Ebony Emeralds Classic Theater presents a tribute to Black History Month with three short one-person plays directed by Dallas-based actor Akin Babatunde and hosted by Liz Mikel, familiar to fans of Friday Night Lights and also named D Magazine's Best Actress back in 2004. Annie Adair’s “To Gram With Love,” Marjie Johnson Reese’s “Rainy Saturday Nights In Lagos,” and Babatunde's "The Obituary," all tell extraordinary stories about seemingly ordinary people.
