About
New Yorker Theresa Chong brings a delicacy to her abstract works by creating them on thin rice paper, a method that shows both her versatility and fearlessness in creating. Her influences range from architecture, calligraphy, and opera to the artistic works of de Kooning, Pollock, and Lichtenstein. Throughout her various inspirations, Chong maintains an affinity for preserving her Korean aesthetic.
