If you’re into movies that are a trifle unconventional, you’ll get a kick out of this. Presented exclusively on 16 mm prints from The Film-Makers’ Cooperative in New York City, the first installment of this series looks at experimental films by Peter Kubelka, including Unsere Afrikareise (1966), Arnulf Rainer (1960), Schwecater (1958), Adebar (1957) and Msaik Im Vertrauen (1955). The second night showcases various artists, including George Landow, Saul Levine, David Brooks, Bruce Baillie, and Shirley Clarke.
