The Pin Show

There's not much not to like about the Pin Show, a celebration and showcase of all-local independent fashion design. The catwalk is constructed in a funky West Dallas warehouse, general admission tickets are cheap, and we usually want to take at least half the clothes home. There's also a designer marketplace and live music from the Danny Church Band, one of our favorite jazzy groups around town. And if this wasn't all enough, the beneficiary for this year's event is Cafe Momentum, the chef-training nonprofit that takes juvenile offenders off the streets and puts them in the kitchen.
