About
The Magnolia is screening all five of this year's Academy Award nominees for Best Live Action Short. This year's program includes: The Confession, which tells the story a 9-year-old English boy who's terrified of making his first confession at church; The Crush, about a second-grader who falls for his teacher and challenges her boyfriend to a duel; God of Love, in which a man receives a package of darts that can make anyone fall for him; Wish 143, about a terminally ill 15-year-old who is desperate to become a man before he dies; and Na Wewe, which relays a story about a group of citizens who are attacked by rebels in 1990s Burundi.
