Forget the monkey suits and fancy gowns. No need for a babysitter. This artistically-inspiring fundraiser connects local and internationally acclaimed artists with kids 12 and under for an afternoon of creative play the entire family can enjoy. The garden will come to life with the hands-on activities and workshops, live music, food, and more. Older kids 13 and up can serve as "art ambassadors" and assist the artists and younger kiddos with their creations. Here's a couple reasons we know this will be a good time: DJ Lucy Wrubel, her husband, and their daughter Stella serve as one of the event's family co-chairs, and D Moms is the media sponsor. Look out for the lovely executive editor Joslyn Taylor and D Moms art editor Lucia Simek, hosting an “Art Imitation” project for The Great Create attendees. D Moms will provide all the materials (and encouragement) necessary to create mini works of art inspired by Christo and Giacometti.
