For whatever reason, our girlfriends in high school thought Ian Astbury, lead singer for The Cult, was the bee’s knees. We didn’t so much agree, but that’s OK. Astbury is still with the band, famous for hits like “She Sells Sanctuary” and “Fire Woman,” though recent photos suggest his once luxurious mane has retired.
