Does your cat have his own placemat? Do you frequently lapse into your pet voice without realizing it, only to find your boss staring blankly back at you? Thanks to The Dog Whisperer, Animal Planet Network, and Paris Hilton, the world has grown more accepting of those of us who are, shall we say, a little obsessed with our animal companions. If you’re in this camp, the Texas Pet Expo has a lot to offer. Pet educators, services and products will be available, but we’re really in it for the entertainment: Twiggy the water-skiing squirrel, Star Dog Entertainment Frisbee and agility dogs, The Amazing Acro-Cats, Larry the Bird Man, the Happy Dragon, and One of Kind Pony Party’s petting zoo.
