This exhibit combines the work of three North Texas photographers - Carlotta Corpron, Ida Lansky, and Barbara Maples - all influenced by the German Bauhaus school's modernist principles. The Bauhaus philosophy incorporates using light in photography through experimentation. Corpron mentored Lansky and Maples, teaching them photograms, solarization, and light abstraction methods that lead to works of art that broadened the Bauhaus aesthetic.
