China isn't exactly know for "freedom of expression," so to speak. Melissa Chiu, director of the Asia Society Museum, and Jeremy Strick, the Nasher's director, will discuss what the country's current political climate means for artists, including the latest on the high-profile detainment and release of artist and activist Ai WeiWei. The talk is a joint effort between TEDxSMU and the Nasher.
