About
TeCo Theatrical Productions has been supporting new (or at least new-ish) Dallas talent for 11 years. For this particular contest, however, they've brought in Will Power, the Dallas Theater Center's playwright in residence, to shephard the baby duckling plays to the stage. SMU students direct the one acts, and you can see all the finalists in a one-night sprint. The audience receives a ballot and votes for their favorite; at the end of the run, the winner gets $1,000. Not bad.
