Summertime in North Texas means picnic lunches at a park, outings with the family, and sweating so much we shower three times a day. But back to the positives. The Dallas Arboretum is launching “Summer at the Arboretum: Peter Rabbit’s Flower Village,” which consists of four themed flower houses that are sure to bring Beatrix Potter’s wonderful children’s stories to life. The event promotes children’s literacy and interest in nature and could also promote quality family time—if your kids behave.
