There is a certain group of Dallas ladies who don’t mess around with the whole “tennis-shoes-and-running-for-charity” thing. No, these ladies prefer five-inch heels to neon Nikes, and we can appreciate that. They all get together once a year for the Stiletto Strut, a charitable trek that benefits The Family Place, a long-standing nonprofit that offers aid and advocacy for victims of domestic violence. Ladies, trot out the Choos, the Manolos, and the Louboutins; men are welcome to hoof it in their snazziest brogues. There's also a silent auction and cocktail hour immediately following.
