As we all know from the old cartoon version of Charlotte’s Web, a fair is a veritable smorgasbord. Texas’ fair is a smorgasbord on steroids. Visitors can expect a dizzying array of rides, musical acts—including the Pointer Sisters, the Eli Young Band, Wade Bowen, the Josh Abbott Band, Intocable, and Laura Bell Bundy—pig races, livestock shows, exhibits, and many, many fried foods upon which to gorge.
