For those slightly less familiar with Jack London, singer/songwriter (and former filmmaker) Alex Brown Church drew his inspiration for the name of his musical project from the writer's early novel The Sea-Wolf, a trippy adventure on the high seas that features a rather shady captain with the last name Wolf. Church's voice reminds us of a more grown up, slightly less angsty Conor Oberst, and yes, he's had a song on a Twilight songtrack. But don't let that stop you. Sea Wolf is three albums strong; get in while the getting's good. Savoir Adore supports.
