This exhibit features three artists, each with distinct styles. Bowman, a Midwest native, creates abstract paintings full of color and energy. Coker hails from Texas and is presenting new mixed media work on paper, canvas, and Mylar. Mascarenhas, a longtime Dallas resident, works in encaustics, a wax based paint that is kept molten on a heated palette, applied to a surface, and then reheated to to fuse the paint.
