Because of 48 Nights, we're all pretty familar with the concept of "pop-up" restaurants. Pop-up art galleries are next on our list to check out, and lucky for us, we can start in the West Village this weekend at Pop Up 310. Located in the former Gardens space, this temporary art gallery showcases art selected by James Cope, the curatoral associate at the Goss-Michael Foundation, and Brian Gibb, owner of the Public Trust. The event this week is the awards ceremony for Ready, Set, Go!, the annual student art contest held at the Goss-Michael Foundation. Check the website for upcoming events, but don't wait too long to check it out–pop ups don't last forever (this exhibition lasts through May 9).
