You know it's time to 'tis the season when Fort Worth pulls out all the stops for this annual post-Thanksgiving tradition. The 1.5 mile parade includes nearly 100 professional floats (and 12,000 lights), marching bands, antique cars, and strolling carolers to get you in the Christmas spirit. The Holiday Fun Zone for kids offers themed crafts and live entertainment while Cowboy Santas make the rounds collecting donations for underprivileged kids (bring cash or an unwrapped toy suitable for ages 12 and under). The parade starts at 6 p.m. and concludes when Santa chugs into view. After that, you can take photos with St. Nick by the Sundance Square Christmas tree and catch a free outdoor screening of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
