About

In college, we used to doodle quite a bit. This might be the reason our father says that college wasn't exactly "the best money he ever spent." Well, this exhibition is like that, only much better. Il Lee has been creating art with a ball point pen for more than 30 years, and his style of “looping, energetic lines have given way to more angular, more interrupted even more urgent, styles of mark making,” according to the press release.  We can’t wait to see what Lee has in store for us. And compare his drawings to ours, of course. FrontRow critic Lucia Simek encourages us to "Go See It." She says, "It’s rare to encounter work that has harnessed so much power, through such effort, so quietly."
