We're hoping that if you're running the full 21+ miles, you don't need us to tell you it's happening. That said, this is the first year that the White Rock Marathon exists as the Dallas Marathon, with the start and finish lines downtown rather than in East Dallas. The route loops over Large Marge and through West Dallas, where there will be plenty of activities for those who're watching rather than sweating. For more viewing locations, go here. There's also a finish line party that's free and open to the public (that's Griffin St, just north of the Dallas Convention Center).
