For writers like us, this is always an interesting event. Meaning, we always like to size up our competition at this conference. (Actually that’s not true, because pretty much everyone on this docket could write events with their hands tied behind their backs, but lately we’ve been trying to think more positively, at the advice of our therapist. So there.) Anyway, this sixth annual event features writing workshops, appointments with literary agents, fancy dinners, and question-and-answer sessions. Literary luminaries like Mary Karr, Mark Bowden, and Gary Smith will give lectures and sign books.
