Matthew Paul Miller, known professionally as Matisyahu, manages to encompass elements of reggae, hip hop, and alternative rock all at the same time with his music. But that's not even the most unique thing about this 31-year-old Brooklynite. Miller's also a Hasidic Jew, a fact that becomes obvious when he steps onstage with a long, scraggly beard and a yarmulke, and shines through in the lyrics of his songs. You might remember "King Without a Crown" from 2004, but he's also armed with tracks like "One Day" and "Indestructible" that are equally catchy.
