We think the name of the band’s latest album, Overexposed, is a little meta. Okay, a lot meta. Frontman Adam Levine is all over TV, turning singing competition show The Voice into his own personal fiefdom and making an extended (and pretty graphic) cameo on Ryan Murphy’s bonkers fright fest, American Horror Story. Maroon 5 has a list of radio hits longer than the average person’s arm, from ridiculous tracks such as “Payphone” to the admittedly catchy “One More Night.” The media saturation is complete; the pleasure is so great and so guilty. But you know what we enjoy the most? When the band takes on classic tracks, such as “The Way You Look Tonight” and “Let’s Stay Together.” They’ve even covered Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You.” Neon Trees and Owl City support.
