Profile

This mixed-media group exhibition features Denton-based artists Ayrton Chapman, Bailey Chapman, Jennifer Jones, and Alexander Kai Revier. While still an undergraduate at the University of North Texas, Ayrton Chapman began work on Meattropolis after receiving a grant from the Dallas Museum of Art. In true; entrepreneurial spirit, she supplemented the grant through Kickstarter. Her sister, Bailey, incorporates her large-scale abstract paintings into Meattropolis, while Jones and Revier showcase paintings of their own. As a side note, based on a very cursory Google search, a whole lot of people think its acceptable to feed their cat lunch meat.
