Live Comic Art Jam and Auction Benefit for Japan

Zeus Comics, the locally-produced web series “The Variants,” and Billiard Bar team up to raise money for the Red Cross relief efforts in Japan. The folks at Zeus have convinced a ton of artists to create their work live in front of the crowd, and other artists who can't attend have donated art, books, and other gifts for your purchasing pleasure. DJ CeePee from Good Records will provide the tunes. Artists in attendance include: James O’Barr (“The Crow”), Eisner nominee Joe Eisma (“Morning Glories”), Kristian Donaldson (“DMZ,” “Supermarket,” “The Guild”), Curt Franklin and Chris Haley (“Let’s Be Friends Again”), RK Milholland (“Something Positive”) and the North Texas art group Space-Gun Studios. The art will be sold via silent auction.
