Tomlin has an incredible repertoire of work, but our favorite role has to be her three year stint as the voice of Ms. Frizzle on PBS’ classic children’s show The Magic School Bus. She’s been in more indie movies than Jared Leto, including I Heart Huckabees, Orange County, and A Prairie Home Companion. And who could forget her cracking wise with Dolly Parton in Nine to Five? Tomlin was also the first woman to appear in a solo show on Broadway, earning her the accolade of “America’s New Queen of Comedy” from Time magazine in 1977. All this to say, if you’re as big a fan of this iconic comedienne as we are, you won’t miss this show.
