About
The Dallas Theater Center’s collaboration with Tony Award-winning regional theater Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Rhode Island, alights in Dallas with a mixed cast of locals and out-of-towners. Similarly, four months ago, a good chunk of the regular DTC crew was stationed in Providence, where it appears they did our city proud (the reviews are full of superlatives for DTC company members past and present, such as Abbey Siegworth, Hassan El-Amin, and Lee Trull). DTC artistic director Kevin Moriarty directs, while Trinity Rep’s Brian McEleney plays the role of the mad king who devises a contest among his three daughters for his affection. Spoiler: this idea backfires.
