Kerr and Nel: Perfect Harmony
- February 23, 2013 3 pm
The Dallas Museum of Art is shaking things up this year by offering guests free admission, which is a change we are more than happy with. Keeping with this new theme of accessibility, Dallas Symphony Orchestra's concertmaster Alexander Kerr and guest pianist Anton Nel are bringing you afternoons of perfectly synchronized chamber music, completely gratis. Kerr's been regarded as one of the most accomplished violinists of our time and Nel's talents on the ivories have been award-winning. The two will perform Debussy’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, Franck’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, and Heifetz’s composition of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.
