After shaggy-haired Aussie Keith Urban established himself in his home country, he moved to Nashville, where he was relegated to being a background performer for Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson. But Urban branched out on his own in the late '90s, and soon he'd conquered the States as well. He hasn't released an album in a couple years, but you'll recognized hits such as "Days Go By" and "Where the Blacktop Ends." He does, however, have a brand-new single inspired by a Madonna song, a reputation for high-octane live shows, and a forthcoming album. So there's that.
