Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion: Summer Love

This will excite some of you. Others won't know what we're talking about. But Garrison Keillor’s weekly radio show, A Prairie Home Companion, is very popular in certain circles. It is basically an old-time radio show, complete with music, singing, jokes, and a regular cast of characters (Guy Noir and Dusty and Lefty, to name just two). Keillor and his group will be bringing their tour to the Winspear for one night only, and they've promised he will sing "Unchained Melody” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” during his intermission walk-through. Also featured: Nickel Creek’s Sara Watkins, the Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band, and sound-effects man Fred Newman.
