About
During World War II, Germany occupied significant parts the world—France, Poland, Greece, Italy, and Hungary, to name a few. And then there's the rather forgotten stretch of the English Channel Islands, in which British citizens and their Nazi occupiers coexisted in a delicate balance. When a naked young man named Gabriel washes up on the shore and is taken in by a widow and her family, he has no memory of who he is, yet speaks both fluent English and German. He could be an angel, but just as likely, the devil. Whatever his role in the war, he'll disrupt the family's fairly good relationship with the Germans—and expose all their secrets.
