About
Forgive us for touting another city's virtues, but the High Line in New York is amazing — repurposed railways along Manhattan's West Side afford beautiful views of the water and ample opportunities for sunbathing and people watching (and rumor has it that if you spend too much looking up, you might see more of someone than you wanted). We love the park for many reasons, including the overpriced coconut water and its eco-friendly planting practices. So of course you can imagine how jazzed we are for the chance to thank one of the people responsible in person. James Corner was the landscape architect on the project, and he'll be giving a talk about recasting and reusing city architecture in a sustainable way.
