About

The seventh annual Fort Worth Opera Festival features Giancomo Puccini's classic drama, La Bohéme; Gaetano Donizetti's romantic comedy, The Daughter of the Regiment; Richard Strauss's hilarious but sophisticated, Ariadne auf Naxos; and the regional premiere of Tom Cipullo's tragic story based on Tom Philpott's best-selling book about America's longest-held Vietnam prisoner of war, Glory Denied. This year's festival will also include the introductory season of "Frontiers," which will include short selections from six to eight unpublished modern operatic works by American composers.
