This stunning exhibition features over 90 works from the Mayan civilization, many of which are recently excavated and have never been seen in the United States before. It will be divided into four sections: Water and Cosmos, Creatures of the Fiery Pool, Navigating the Cosmos, and Birth to Rebirth. Carved stone monuments, hieroglyphs, painted pottery, and precious goods crafted from gold and turquoise are just some of the items that will be on display.
