What's the Fourth of July without fireworks? We were afraid we might have to find out this year, when this annual fireworks show was cancelled a while back. However, it's on again (although on the fifth of July), thanks to last minute funds from Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Gold Metal Recyclers. Heck–we'll take fireworks whenever we can get them, holiday or not. Come to Fair Park early for dancing water shows at the Esplanade Fountain and stay for a 45-minute concert from the Dallas Wind Symphony, and of course, the gorgeous fireworks display.
