Examine the Dallas education system and discuss how it can be improved for our future generations at this free forum. Mayor Rawlings will provide the opening remarks at "Cause-Minded Conversation: Educating Dallas from Cradle to Career," the first in a series of three informative panels hosted by the Communities Foundation of Texas. Editorial columnist for The Dallas Morning News Bill McKenzie will serve as moderator, and panelists include Todd Williams, executive director of Commit!, a non-profit which supports higher education and career readiness advancement; Regina Nippert, executive director of the Center on Communities and Education at SMU; and George Tang, chief operating officer at Educate Texas.
