August Strindberg is a tough playwright to tackle. His work was highly experimental back in the 1870s, and he could even be called the grandfather of modern alternative theatre. The Undermain is taking on Easter, a rarely performed play about redemption that mirrors the Easter season as the characters experience suffering and then deliverance.
