We think it’s safe to say that the movie Drumline, starring Nick Cannon, is a work of cinematic genius. This is why we’re excited that the AT&T Performing Arts Center has gifted us with Drumline Live, an experience that offers all the heart-pumping, foot-stomping excitement of halftime without the actual football game. (This is good news for some people, obviously.) For those worried about authenticity, the folks behind this national tour are the same people behind the movie, and the stage show features the best of marching band traditions from historically black colleges and universities across the United States.
