Dr Pepper is celebrating its 125th birthday with a cake contest at the State Fair of Texas. Judges will choose a winning cake, which fry king Abel Gonzales will then fry in copious amounts of oil. So what if it's happening midday during the workweek? We firmly believe this warrants taking a personal day.
