There are plenty of spooky-looking skeletons to go around during Halloween season, but none of them can match the colorful, intricately detailed calaveras from the Day of the Dead. The Oak Cliff Cultural Center is hosting two workshops to get you in the spirit for the Latin American holiday honoring loved ones who have passes away. Join artist Karla Arte on Oct. 19 to try your hand at creating a Día de los Muertos mask, and stop by on Oct. 26 to decorate sugar skulls and skeletons with Guadalupe Robles. Space is limited, so register online to save your spot.
