Devin the Dude's career has not followed a traditional path. After forming the Odd Squad with a blind rapper named Rob Quest, Devin signed on to Rap-A-Lot Records, where he developed a cult following as one of the nation's hottest underground rappers. Now on past his 40th birthday, Devin still hasn't attained much mainstream success, but his status as the "rapper';s rapper" has persisted through his two-decade career. Listen for "Lacville '79."
