David Brooks, op-ed New York Times columnist and author of the bestselling book Bobos in Paradise: The New Upper Class and How They Got There, knows a little bit about the human condition. He's a social and cultural critic, a savvy political analyst. And he can make something like the incredibly incomprehensible science understandble — even interesting.
