We're not ashamed of our nerdiness. In fact, we embrace it, and always look forward to this exceedingly fun gathering of like-minded people. This year, the Comic Con changes venues to the brand new Irving Convention Center, where you can spend two days immersed in the imaginary worlds of comic books and television shows. Notable guests include Leonard Nimoy, the original Mr. Spock on Star Trek, Stan Lee, co-creator of Spiderman and the Avengers (to name just two of his mega-hits) and Carrie Fisher, better known as Princess Leia. Free parking is available, but limited. Otherwise, it'll cost you $5.
