When Crowded House broke on to the scene in the mid-'80s, we thought they were so cool. They had such refreshingly normal hair and clothing, and such lovely voices, and such great melodies (e.g. "Something So Strong," "Don't Dream It's Over," and "Mean to Me"). And Neil Finn. Swoon. Guess what? They still have all of this, plus a few decades' more experience onstage, and if Finn's recent solo work is any indication, their musicianship has only improved with time.
