When popular street artist Kaws (the New Jersey-born Brian Donnelly) had a big exhibit in Fort Worth last year, we told you that his most iconic work is probably the giant Mickey Mouse covering his eyes with an “X” over each hand. The piece is both reassuringly familiar and overwhelmingly depressing. It’s called Companion (Passing Through), and Mickey will be stationed at the entrance to the museum for a nice long visit.
